Newer Temporary Apartment

 After a month and a week in the first apartment, we moved to a bigger apartment in the same complex but different building. We are basically across the pool from our original apartment. The new apartment is twice as big as the old one. Still 2 bedrooms but now we have 2 bathrooms plus a laundry room. It is so nice to have a washing machine again. We now look towards the rising sun instead of the setting sun. this apartment has blackout curtains, though, so we aren't awoken by the early rays. At least I'm not. Can't say about Jack.

The front door is next to the refridgerator. It has a full size kitchen with lots of counter space. on the other side of the front door is the laundry room. Notice that beautiful washing machine.

The livng room has an "Uncle Mike" couch. It is extremely comfortable. As you sit on it, the back cushions slip down behind the seat cushion. You are constantly having to adjust it. Mike gave us that couch, which Lauren loves and took to her apartments. It is very comfortable. 

To the right of the picture is a short wide hall with 3 doors off of it to the bedroom, master bedroom, and secondary bath. I will show them in that order. The master bedroom has its own bath as well.

This is the extra bedroom. Right now it holds all our our suitcases. I discovered that it has a trundle bed under it.

The master bedroom, standing by the bathroom. The wardrobe is next to me so you can't see it. You can see the very thick, heavy blinds that keep out the light. They have the same on every window.

The pictures don't do justice to it. It's a cute apartment and has air conditioner. We should be here until last September, so a few more weeks to use the pool. Since you have heard so much about the pool, I will include the one we usually go to by our apartment. There is another one on the other half of the complex that is the regular square lap pool with a square kiddie wading pool next to it. By why walk to it when this one is just outside our building?

Our new apartment is in the building you see on the left side, behind the tree. Our old apartment is behind me from where I was taking the picture. The Christensens have been staying temporarily in the building to the right side of the picture. There are 3 more building in the complex as well with the square pools between them. The apartments are called the Aveda Towers in Iloilo.
